Isaac Jung

Growing up it was difficult to find Asian American performing artists to look up to. I remember seeing The Rockettes at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and there was an Asian dancer and I thought "Wow, someone who looks like me."  

I want to be just like that Rockette for little kids all over America who get told no they cannot because of the shape of their eyes or the color of their skin.

I want to be an example for those kids who want to be artists when their parents say there is no place for Asian people in the arts.
